There is nothing more anti-Semitic than Zionism

The title of this article comes from the lyrics of Long live Palestine! by LowKey. The image above titled "Israel has the Reich to defend itself!" is one that is declared to be officially anti-Semitic by the ADL. It never occurs to the ADL that the ones causing a wave of anti-Semitism are actually the Zionists like those pictured in this image. Here is the description from the ADL website.

The two words in Arabic on the right and the left: "The New Nazis!"

Underneath (left to right) Israeli leaders Tzipi Livni, Ehud Olmert and Ehud Barak in Nazi regalia.
Actually, even though the ADL claims to abhor this portrait, I think they are secretly infatuated by the imagery. This is exactly the message they want to send to the Palestinians - that they are more ruthless and cold blooded than anything the Palestinians can imagine in their worst nightmare. And that therefore the Palestinians should bow before the Master Jewish Race. And give in to all demands. If they know what's good for them.

In fact they should go running from the Holy Land of the Fourth Reich before they are exterminated like cockroaches. Which is what they are according to the Zionists. Nothing but animals fit to be slaughtered.

This is intended by the Zionists to be a repeat of Al Nakba - the disaster of 1948 when Palestinians were sent running for their lives by the terrorist Irgun leader Menachem Begin. Later to become the Prime Minister of Israel.

The propaganda is the same; the methods are the same; the racist slogans are the same.

But of course the ADL can only view such comparisons as being anti-Semitic. Let's be clear - according to the ADL, any criticism of Israel or Jewish people is anti-Semitic. The only way to avoid this charge is to accept the motto "Israel - right or wrong!"

As proof, here is a link to a slide-show of Arab editorial cartoons on the ADL website about the ongoing Zionist slaughter of innocent Palestinians. (Including the image at the top of this post.) And here is the ADL's condemnation of these depictions.
Editorial cartoons in Arab newspapers are using age-old anti-Semitic images and motifs to critique Israel’s operation in Gaza, using blood-libel, stereotypical depictions of Jews, comparisons to the Nazis, the Holocaust and allegations of Jewish domination of the United States, the United Nations and the world. Particularly dangerous and disturbing is the use of Nazi imagery to depict Israelis and comparisons of Israel’s actions to the absolute evil perpetrated by the Nazis in the Holocaust. These comparisons and the imagery feed the age-old myths of Jews as a satanic and conniving force which endeavors to take over the world. Such anti-Semitic notions create fodder for hatred and bias by continuing the myths which have plagued the Jewish people for centuries. Furthermore, the images of Jews as Nazis, committing genocide are an insult to the memories of those who perished in the Holocaust and an affront to those who survived the horrors of Nazi Germany.
An insult to the memories of those who perished in the Holocaust? Well that's one Zionist's opinion. What about a Jewish MP, Sir Gerald Kaufman, who's relatives perished in the Holocaust? Let's see what he has to say in this video titled, "UK Jewish MP: Israel acting like Nazis in Gaza".

That's significantly different from the ADL's point of view. But then again he is probably a self-hating Jew and doesn't realize it according to the ADL.

I leave you with this self-description from the ADL website.
The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world's leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.
Really? It seems to me that the ADL is spreading hatred, prejudice and bigotry. But then I am probably an anti-Semite without realizing it according to the ADL.

I believe I had a post about the ADL back in the day - it would be good to revisit the topic, and all those "anti-racism" organizations that somehow support Israel's murderous policies, actively defending a foreign government.

I appreciate what you have to say.
You've got a very non-aggressive manner of speaking truth to power.
It's refreshing.

Thanks Cabbage. I'm coming from a Social Justice point of view. Sometimes I do feel outraged by what I see on the news, and some of my posts reflect that.

I'm afraid I'm beginning to be numb to the events in Gaza. What does it mean to have a cease-fire now after Gaza has been demolished and thousands are dead or severely injured?

I'd like to think that my arguments are persuasive, but I know that public opinion is so polarized that most people are not willing to be swayed. My goal is to educate myself and at the same time share what I learn with others.

I do believe that ultimately communication is a powerful tool. Cable TV and the internet and the constant instantaneous transmission of information can only be a good thing. Evil loves to hide in the shadows. By shining a light on evil, we expose it and reveal the truth.

Peace,
Frank

And a shout out to my friend American Goy. You can visit his blog at americangoy.blogspot.com/

I've updated this post. I made a minor edit to add a link to the original image of "Israel has a Reich to defend itself!". You can find it at:

http://www.mahjoob.com/en/archives/view.php?cartoonid=2603&Y=2009&M=01

The artists name is Emad Hajjaj. You can find other political cartoons there. It says on his webpage that he was born in Ramallah in 1967.

I would not have known of this cartoon if not for the ADL website. So thank you ADL. When I did a google search to find the original image, I found it on the webpage www.jazarah.net/blog

This is apparently the webpage of a graphic artist from Dubai. There are some excellent images there and I encourage you to go visit. I will probably use some of his images in upcoming blog posts.

(Actually I should have noticed from the beginning that the webpage of the original artist was right on the image. Oh well.)

Thanks for your blog. I have always thought that it is essential to educate as many people as possible about the full history of the conflict. I came to this conclusion because Zionists spend an inordinate amount of time trying to avoid such discussions. It's also interesting to see how the discussion goes if you do manage to get them to talk about it. For instance, the first point they will bring up is UN Resolution 181, extraordinary really when you consider the scores of other UN Resolutions that they contemptuously ignore. The second thing they point to is the Balfour Agreement, and that's pretty much it. They simply ignore anything that is said about their own terrorists like Irgun, Haganah, the Stern Gang, etc., or the massacres of Arabs before and after 1948. When all else fails they will tell you that Palestine is an Arab myth and that they were there first, and then it's time for the Bible quotations. How these tactics manage to subdue people and governments all over the world is beyond me, but they do. Still, I have faith in the inherent goodness of my fellow man and feel sure that once people know the true history, their natural sense of justice and fair play will win the day.

Thanks George. I'm ashamed to say that for much of my life I was completely unaware of the true history of Israel. I was told when I was young that Israel was "a land without a people for a people without a land". Even after I heard of the Palestinians, I guess I just assumed that there were only a small number of them. I had no idea what the word "Zionist" really meant.

I finally came to the "enlightened" position that both sides were wrong and that this was a conflict that goes back to Biblical times. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Its only with the advent of the internet that I have been able to educate myself. I finally realized the gross injustices that the Palestinian people have suffered for more than 60 years. It took mountains of evidence for me to change the opinion that had been burned into me at a young age. It's hard to accept that you've been lied to all your life.

That's what we're fighting against. I agree absolutely with you about the arguments presented by the pro-Zionist side. It's one thing for an average citizen like myself to be duped by the Israel Lobby all these years, but what is the excuse for Congress?
